Forex Ad Tracker

The forex ad tracker that puts an ad name on every deposit

A forex ad tracker is attribution software that connects a paid ad click to the broker first-time deposit it eventually produces. FlowTracker is a forex ad tracker: it captures the click identity and UTM detail on landing, matches the Telegram join, the chat and the FTD back to it, and reports revenue per ad.

What a forex ad tracker is,
and what it has to do

A forex ad tracker is attribution software for trading funnels that convert outside the browser. It records who clicked which ad, follows that same person into Telegram or WhatsApp, and then joins the broker deposit back to the original click. Without it, the ad platform reports clicks and the broker reports deposits, and nothing connects the two.

The forex funnel is unusual in three specific ways, and each one breaks a different part of ordinary web tracking:

  1. The conversion is a deposit, not a checkout. It happens in a broker back office on a domain you do not own and cannot put a pixel on.
  2. The middle of the funnel is a messaging app. Most traffic passes through a Telegram channel, a bot or a WhatsApp thread, where no browser and therefore no pixel exists.
  3. The delay is measured in days or weeks. A trader who clicks on Monday may deposit the following week, long after any browser session has ended.

A tool that only reports clicks, or only reports deposits, is not a forex ad tracker. The defining job is the join between the two.

The Tracking Problem

The click leaves the browser,
so the pixel dies

What actually happens at the app switch

A trader taps your Meta or Google ad. The browser opens your landing page and the pixel fires a PageView, carrying the platform click identifier in the URL. Meta writes that identifier into a first-party cookie called _fbc, in the documented format fb.subdomain_index.creation_time.fbclid. So far, everything works.

Then the trader taps your Telegram or WhatsApp button. The operating system hands the click to a different application. There is no browser tab, no cookie jar and no pixel in that application. The _fbc cookie still exists in the browser the person has just left, but nothing will ever read it again, because nothing they do next happens in that browser.

Days later the trader registers with your broker and deposits. That deposit is recorded in the broker back office. Nobody there has ever heard of the ad. Meta sees a click and no conversion, so it optimises toward the audience that clicks rather than the audience that deposits, and your reported cost per FTD is wrong in a direction you cannot see.

The seven day rule that catches most forex advertisers

Even teams who do send deposits back to Meta hit a hard limit that is easy to miss. Meta's Conversions API rejects events that are too old, and it rejects the whole request rather than the individual event:

"The event_time can be up to 7 days before you send an event to Facebook. If any event_time in data is greater than 7 days in the past, we return an error for the entire request and process no events."

A forex deposit that lands two weeks after the click cannot be backdated to that click inside Meta. What can be done is send the conversion promptly, at the moment the broker postback arrives, with the stored click identity attached so Meta can still credit the right campaign. That is only possible if something kept the click identity in the first place.

How It Works

Capture the click, match the person,
send the result both ways

FlowTracker captures the click identity and full UTM detail on landing, matches the same person through the Telegram join or WhatsApp message and then the purchase, and sends every matched step both back to the originating ad platform and into your own database, so you read which ad, adset and campaign produced revenue without relying on the platform to attribute it.

In a forex funnel that plays out in four steps:

  1. Capture. The ad points at a tracked link. On landing, the platform click identifier and every UTM parameter are written server side against a click record, before anything can be lost to a cookie policy or an app switch.
  2. Match. When the same person joins your Telegram channel, starts your bot or messages your WhatsApp number, that identity is joined to the click record and the two become one lead.
  3. Reconcile. When the broker reports a registration, a first-time deposit or a redeposit, by direct API, by Cellxpert or by server to server postback, it lands on the same lead and inherits the ad, adset and campaign from the original click.
  4. Return. The matched conversion goes back to Meta, Google Ads or TikTok through the official Conversions APIs, and simultaneously into your own reporting, so the numbers survive even if you change ad platform.

The scope of the accuracy claim is worth stating plainly: FlowTracker reports a 97.2 percent match rate on traffic that arrives through a tracked link. Traffic that reaches your funnel some other way, a forwarded message, an organic post, a direct search for your brand, is not covered by that figure. No attribution system is perfect and FlowTracker does not claim to be.

Most forex teams already run all three of the first columns. The gap is not effort, it is that none of those systems can see the step the others own.

FAQ

Forex ad tracking, answered

What is a forex ad tracker?

A forex ad tracker is attribution software that ties a paid ad click to the broker conversion it eventually produces, usually a first-time deposit. It has to survive the jump from the browser into Telegram or WhatsApp, accept a deposit that arrives from the broker days later, and then report revenue by ad, adset and campaign.

Why does Meta not show my FTDs?

Meta only reports events you send it. The deposit happens in a broker back office, on a domain Meta has no pixel on, often days after the click. Meta also rejects Conversions API events with an event_time more than 7 days in the past, so a late deposit has to be matched to its stored click and sent on time.

Can I track a forex funnel that runs through Telegram?

Yes. FlowTracker captures the click identity and the full UTM detail when the lead lands, then matches the Telegram join, the conversation and the later broker deposit back to that same click. FlowTracker reports a 97.2 percent match rate on traffic that arrives through a tracked link. Traffic that does not arrive through a tracked link is outside that figure.

Which brokers does FlowTracker connect to?

34 plus broker partner programs connect directly, including Vantage, Pepperstone, FXTM, IG Markets, XTB, AvaTrade, Eightcap, Tickmill, TMGM, Axi, IronFX, Alpari and Exness. Cellxpert powered programs connect through the Cellxpert hub. Any program that supports server to server postbacks connects with a postback URL you paste into the broker back office.

Does a forex ad tracker replace my broker affiliate dashboard?

No, it explains it. The broker dashboard tells you a deposit happened and what it paid. It cannot tell you which ad produced it, because the broker never saw the ad click. A forex ad tracker sits in front of the broker, holds the click record, and joins the two records together on your side.

How is this different from just putting UTMs on my ads?

UTMs label a click while it is still in the browser. They do not survive the move into a messaging app, and they are not attached to a deposit that lands a week later inside someone else's system. FlowTracker stores the UTM detail server side against a click identity, then reattaches it when the deposit postback arrives.

Can it track redeposits and lifetime value, not just the first deposit?

Yes. Every deposit after the first stays attached to the same lead and the same originating ad, so campaigns can be compared on lifetime deposit value rather than first deposit value alone. In forex that distinction matters, because the gap between a single depositor and a repeat depositor is most of the margin.

Do I need a developer to set this up?

No. Ad accounts connect with OAuth, Telegram connects with a bot token, and brokers connect with an API key or a postback URL you paste into the broker back office. Most teams have tracked links live in about five minutes and see their first attributed events the same day.

What does FlowTracker cost?

Track is free. Operate is 499 dollars per month, Perform is 999 dollars per month and Scale is 1,999 dollars per month. Every paid plan starts with a 7 day free trial and no credit card is required to start. Plans scale with contacts and events rather than with seats.
